About SCARF
SCARF is a non-profit foundation operated by a group of volunteers with the Solano County Animal Shelter. SCARF provides education, appointments and transportation to low cost spay/neuter clinics and placement of homeless dogs, cats and rabbits into permanent loving homes.
We provide adoption events in a variety of locations in Solano County as well as care for “special needs” homeless animals. Because SCARF is a volunteer organization, 100% of donations goes to the benefit of the animals in need.
Our Accomplishments

May 2008 was our record month – 61 pets were adopted through mobile adoption programs.
October 2005 was a record month - 50 pets were adopted through our mobile adoption program.
Volunteers have provided appointments and transportation to low-cost spay/neuter clinics for over 4,000 cats and dogs.
